Vikings Beat Rio Hondo 2-1

The Vikings baseball team behind the arm of Sophomore ACE Nicholas Winkler beat Rio Hondo 2-1 in an excellent ball game today at home - Saturday March 5th.  This is Winkler's 2nd complete game victory of the season.  Winkler allowed just five hits and struck out four batters.  Caleb Squire finished the game 2-4 with a run scored while Easton Withers was 1-3 with the second run scored.  Jonah Yang was 2-4 and knocked in both the team's rbi's.  The win places the Vikings atop the Foothill Conference leader board with 3 wins (3-0 in Conference) and gives Rio Hondo its first Conference loss of the season (they fall to 2-1 in Conference)  - box score and stats coming soon!
