Katz Honored With So Cal Pitcher of the Week

Jason Katz - Barstow College

Jason Katz was selected Southern California Pitcher of the Week for his outing at San Bernardino Valley College on Feb. 2nd. Katz earned the win throwing 8 innings, while only giving up 2 runs and collected 6 K's, and 2 walks. He also induced four double plays in route to the Vikings win over SBVC 3-2.

Katz is the 3rd Viking to receive this honor in the over the past five years. He joins Chase Ottofy (2018) and Nick Winkler (2016) as Viking Pitchers of the Week over the past five years.

Jason is committed to Upper Iowa University.
