Lady Viking Basketball Tournament Up to date results
Barstow Community College Lady Viking Tournament is complete. Mt. San Jacinto earns the Championship with 75-53 victory in the Championship game over Barstow. Barstow falls to 6-2 on the season with their only losses coming at the hands of #4 ranked and undefeated Mt. San Jacinto in consecutive weeks. The Vikings were excellent this weekend in their host tournament and finished in 2nd place. Chaffey college defeated Imperial Valley 64-41 to claim the consolation championship and Lassen 64 over Porterville 54 to finish in 3rd place.
Essence Reece is averaging 12.8 points per game to start the season with 7 rebounds - Reece was selected to the All-Tournament team for the second consecutive tournament. Joining Reece as an All-Tournament selection are Faith Gibson (7 points - 6 rebounds a game) and Jaylan Price-Johnson (11.8 points and 3 assists per game)
