All-Conference Honors

The Women's Basketball season 2019 - 2020 here at BCC has come to an end and we just wanted to take the time to acknowledge a few young ladies that deserve some recognition for their accomplishments this year. We would also like to thank all the faculty and staff for supporting and helping these young women accomplish their goals.

These are the young women from left to right who made All-Conference for the Inland Empire Athletic Conference.

Davena Harris - Davena was one of the only few freshman players to earn 1st Team All-Conference this season.  She was the sixth leading scorer in the conference averaging 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals a game.  Davena  currently has a 3.1 G.P.A. and is looking forward to her future here at Barstow College.

Katrin Kriener - Katrin earned 2nd Team All-Conference Honors as a sophomore despite battling injuries throughout the season.  In conference play she was the fourth leading scorer averaging 16 points, 12 rebounds and led the conference in blocked shots at 5 per game.  Katrin has a 4.0 G.P.A. and will be missed on the court and on campus where she also was a tutor in the Learning Center.  Katrin is looking forward to the opportunity to continue her education and basketball career.  

Inayalena Paopao - Inayalena also played both her freshman and sophomore years here at BCC.  She earned Honorable Mention Honors averaging double digits in points per game.  Paopao has embodied the true definition of hard work and determination playing both basketball and softball during her time here at BCC.  She plans on continuing her education and athletic career at a university this upcoming Fall.     

Tasha Jackson - Tasha played both her freshman and sophomore year here at BCC and during this time she has been a solid student athlete.  She earned Honorable Mention Honors being in the top ten in the conference in scoring and rebounding.  Tasha has a 3.7 G.P.A and has plans on furthering her education and basketball career at the next level.
