Bio

"My name is Tiare Alefaio, soon-to-be Lewis, and I am the Assistant Coach for the Women's Basketball team. I'm originally from Oakland, but moved out here to Barstow around 2008, so I'm pretty much considered a Barstonian now. I've been coaching basketball for 6 years, starting at the local high school and slowly building my way up where opportunity takes me.

In 2019, I graduated with my associate's in social science from Barstow Community College and am currently attending Park University, working towards my bachelor's in public administration. Some fun things to know about me are I love a good karaoke session, my favorite sport is volleyball, and I like collecting artificial plants. Coach Parks and I have been working around the clock to rebuild our women's basketball program back up where it belongs, so I'm excited to see how our efforts will play out over time.
