University of Regina signs two Vikings.....

Sophomores Ramiro Martinez-Quintanilla and Kornel Tokolyi have both signed National Letters of Intent and Scholarship Offers to the University of Regina in Canada.  Ramiro is a 6'6 forward from Yecla Spain who shot 33% from 3 point range this past season and recently graduated with his AA degree from BCC.  Kornel is a large 6'8 body from Budapest, Hungary who also maintains excellent outside shooting range as well as the ability to attack the rim.

Chasing a hoop of traveling abroad to study in a foreign language and play college basketball is a great challenge for a young person. Both of these exceptional young men accepted that challenge and their belief in themselves, coupled with their hard work and determination has paid off. The University of Regina has awarded these Barstow College Vikings basketball players full athletic scholarships and in my opinion, they could not have made a better choice of athletes, scholars and gentlemen." reflects Head Coach Gerry Wright.
