The Vikings men's basketball team remains winless after dropping three games at the Home Motors Tournament at Santa Maria College this weekend.

The Barstow Vikings men's basketball team earned their first win of the season, defeating Rio Hondo College 67-61 on Wednesday at the annual Wild West Shootout at West Los Angeles College. After a few close games in recent weeks, the team appears to be finding consistency on both offense and defense.

The men's basketball team faced a tough start to their 2024-25 season, falling to Cuyamaca College 72-70 in double overtime and Oxnard College 78-61 at the College of the Canyons Annual Tournament.

The Barstow men’s basketball team consists of 9 freshmen. With such a young team, there are learning curves to be had. Similar to the first game of the season against Oxnard College, the Vikings dropped another winnable game as they fell to Cuyamaca College 81-88 at the Clash at the Canyons basketball tournament on Saturday.

The Barstow Vikings men’s basketball team began their 2022 campaign with a tough 86-97 loss against Oxnard College at the Clash at the Canyons basketball tournament in Santa Clarita, CA.

Announcing the 2021 - 2022 men's basketball schedule. The season begins on Thursday, November 4 when the team travels to the College of the Canyons to take on Cuyamaca College. Tip off is scheduled at 4:00 p.m.
